I came in first place today in my age bracket!! First we ran. It was a 1/2 mile. We paced well at the back of the pack. I ran with Thing1 and talked with him. We passed one person but he caught up. On the bike he passed me, but I passed him permanently on the final run. He was 9. After the run we biked. We rode 3 miles on the road. It started out up hill. Then you went down a big hill. Then we went up hill onto a bridge. It was a big bridge. After the bike we ran again. I really enjoyed it. At first it started out sprinkling. Then it rained hard and stopped. Finally it sprinkled again. I went as hard as I could on the last leg, but I accidentally went kinda fast on the bike. I paced pretty good. I did my first whistle on my bike. I cheered Thing1 on during my bike. I cheered Thing1 on after I finished.
