Thing1, Dad, Ms. D, and I went to the race. Dad and I were the Team2. Ms. D and Thing1 were the Team1. We started out by canoeing. It was great. We went around and back. We started in the water. We didn’t fall in. We didn’t get wet. Dad did when he got out of the canoe. After the canoe we biked. There weren’t many roads. It was mostly trails. It was bumpy. The boy in front of us crashed when his dad looked back at us. The bike was kinda hard. Going up the hill was bumpy and hard. Going down the hill was easy and scary. I felt the breeze. After the bike we ran. We walked up the first hill. We had a lot of fun. We came in third in my age group.
